Brand new for 2020 is our brilliant Big Top Tent - a huge under-cover festival stage which features a host of amazing DJs across the two main festival days of Cheshire Fest. As you enter the site, you'll be greeted by the big blue structure, which features a load of great kids entertainment during the day from 12pm - 6pm and offers a perfect place to chill, enjoy some food and meet with friends. Although, when day turns to dusk the space will be transformed and offer a great spot to party on into the night with a special line-up of UK dance music legends and local heroes. Here's how things are shaping up...
FRIDAY 8th MAY

Rozalla
Rozalla is a Zambian born artist who has had many hit singles in her time. First emerging on the Zimbabwe scene in the 1980s, having moved there from her homeland, she is unofficially known as ‘The Queen of Rave.’ It was in 1988 that she first arrived in England with a record executive and from there she really hit the big time with club classics like ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’ in 1991. It was a sure-fire hit that sound tracked many nights out around the country and further afield, reaching the top 10 in numerous countries. Today the track is still a real classic which continues to get people dancing. A debut album soon followed and hit the UK Top 20, and more hits came in the form of ‘Are You Ready To Fly’ and ‘Faith (in The Power of Love’). One of dance music’s most consistent performers, it is the style and melodic flair of Rozalla’s music that sets her apart.

Angie Brown
Is a singer, who’s been a professional in the music industry, for over 30 years. Most people remember her from working with 3 DJ’s /producers from Stafford called ‘Bizarre Inc’. With Bizarre Inc’s flair for production, and her powerhouse vocals, together they created a massive hit globally, with a track called ‘I’m Gonna Get You’. ‘I’m Gonna Get You’ is revered as a ‘floor-filler’ dance classic, and stayed in the national charts for over 10 weeks. Her hits continues to take her all over the world, and still gets played on mainstream radio today.
She has sung and performed with various hosts and presenters, promoters and clients. Especially those who want to recreate the legacy and euphoria of the 90’s ‘hands-in-the-air’ anthems. Whilst singing ‘I’m Gonna Get You’, it has been received perfectly at various venues, nightclubs, holiday parks, festivals, 90’s revisited nights, and private events, all over Dubai, Europe, America, Ibiza and the UK.
Shaun Lever
Shaun Lever is a legend of the Manchester dance music scene, well known for playing House Music and Oldskool. He is a Top DJ and producer and one of the creators of Exxposure at Bowlers a night which helped bring new talent through the ranks. Shaun is responsible for many collaborations and remixes throughout the years with some huge names in the industry.
Stu Allan
Stu Allan is a Legendary figure in the UK dance music scene and was an inspiration to a generation of young Northwest DJs, Stu was a true pioneer in the North of England, and was largely responsible for changing the musical landscape for many people as the explosion of Hip-Hop and House music swept across the UK in the late 80's and early 90's before going on to run a ground breaking radio show on Piccadilly Radio / KEY 103 playing all over the UK and beyond.
Lee Crank
Lee is a DJ, presenter and thoroughly nice chap. This House Music aficionado is a legend on the Manchester music scene, playing Oldskool and classic disco tunes that will have everyone on their feet, he supplies plenty of hands in the air moments that will have you re-living those early clubbing days.
SATURDAY 9th MAY

K-Klass
K-Klass released a number of massive dancefloor anthems and are one of the most successful artists of their time, with huge hits like ‘Rhythmn Is a Mystery’ and ‘Let Me Show You’ still a regular feature in many top DJs sets. Originally formed with members meeting at Hacienda and going on to produce a slew of successful releases and albums - this award winning group are sure to get the crowd moving!

Clint Boon
Clint Boon was part of successful local band Inspiral Carpets and has continued to support the next generation of emerging artists through his hit radio shows - a champion of new and emerging music from the North West and beyond... he'll open up the evening in the Big Top with classic tracks fit for a desert island disk, as well as showcasing some of the freshest sounds coming from the best next wave artists of today.

Peter Hook
Multi-instrumentalist Peter Hook, formerly of Joy Division and New Order was part of a big moment in music with both bands, and a new-era take on rock music and innovative electronic influenced tracks. Now performing with his own band Peter Hook and The Light and will be playing a special DJ set at the festival this year.
