The Voice Kids
We love the Voice Kids! And we have put together for you a line- up of young performers from the hit ITV show, which will be showing off their talents by singing live for you.
Joined team Will in 2018 and is the youngest Jazz and Blues artist in the UK. She has supported Alexander O’Neal, Daniel O’Donnell and George Gallagher.
Joined team Danny in 2018 the sassy singer based in Warrington was a semi-finalist and has been making waves ever since. Jennifer recently won a national contest to represent Britain at Slavianski Bazaar -International Children’s singing competition in Belarus. The program is similar to Eurovision and on TV across Europe.
Mandy is 11 year old singer is performing at venues up and down the country; she appeared on ITV’s The Voice Kids UK 2018. She recently got invited to audition for a lead part in an upcoming Netflix Christmas Musical film called Jingle Jangle.
From Team Danny Lola is a local girl from Bramhall_High who applied for The Voice Kids after being encouraged by her school's music teacher. She's performed her own songs at school concerts and local fairs. She's written six songs about the happy and sad things she's experienced in her life. Lola is super active, she goes to cheerleading practice twice a week and also plays rugby for her county's under 15s team.

Beauty and the Beast

Due to be released in May the new 2019 Aladdin film will sure be a hit with the kids, so we have organised our very own Aladdin, Jasmin and Genie show,. Bringing all the magic of Disney to the kids stage with this 20min show.
Mary Poppins is coming to make sure all our children are spit spot and ready for action. This brilliant show will have the little ones singing along to all those great songs we know and love. After a good singalong Mary will be available to meet and greet all her fans!
Junior Frood (Saturday only)
Who likes a bit of Street Dance? We loved The Greatest Dancer! We have a amazing dance act for you, meet Junior Frood UK Freestyle Champion who will be treating us to some moves with his unique style. This youngster has performed all over the country raising money for charity. What a fantastic young man!
Bollywood Dance (Saturday only)
Be amazed at the colour and excitement of a Bollywood dance performance and enjoy a routine from our friends at Aimz Bolly Dance. Led by the award-winning Ami Jhaveri, she will have you inspired to join in with all the moves as they take to the Kids stage in true Bollywood style.
Bring the Fire Project
Bring the Fire Project offers circus skills workshops focusing on fire & light dancing combined with objects manipulation arts like poi, levitation stick, staff spinning and juggling, great skills to learn for your budding performers! They will also be treating us to a fantastic fire dancing finale to close the Kids stage, not to be missed!
Local Talent Showcase
A lively start is promised with a takeover by The 5 Star Unique Talent Theatre School (Saturday) and the YSBD Theatre School (Sunday) who will be showcasing what they do best by providing demonstrations, dancing & singing workshops and a stage performance that will knock your socks off.
Battle of the Super heroes
Meet your favourite Superhero’s at our incredible show; we have the green and grumpy giant that is The Hulk and we have the amazing Captain America! Come to save the day. If that’s not enough superhero action for you: how about the caped crusader; Batman or the awesome Iron Man?
All these incredible marvel heroes will be visiting Cheshire Fest kids’ area, where you can meet and greet them and get a selfie which will be sure to empress your friends.
Isaac Lancel Watkinson (Sunday)
Is a young singer who plays a mean guitar his love for performance came when he was very young, perhaps it was from observing his dad Andrew Lancel (Actor) that he caught the performance bug! Super talented in his own right this young man has a great future ahead.
Girl Talk (Sunday)
Are back by popular demand after their fab performance in 2017 this all singing, all dancing talented girl group has been very busy, with performances both here and abroad. Four fun-loving, bubbly, energetic girls who sing, rap and dance, will be performing on Sunday, don’t miss out!
Help! The Dinosaurs are coming –Giant T-Rex
“Imagine a time when the dinosaurs ruled the earth, with this immersive action experience. Life like and nearly life size, watch out! as these fascinating creatures roam through Cheshire Fest”
Who wants to meet a Giant T-Rex ? Visitors have a chance to meet this amazing attraction as our Dino gamekeepers take you on a journey through time with a chance to get up close ( if you dare) they will tell you some fascinating facts about Dinosaurs I bet you didn’t know! In addition see our exhibition situated in the Craft Tent where children can meet a baby dinosaur up close and can examine a giant egg.
Would you like to be a space pirate, Wild West sheriff, solider or zombie? Perhaps play your favourite sport or be a famous rock star? All this is possible in our virtual reality tent brought to you by the geeks at VRyourself, the experts in transporting you to another world where anything is possible. You have to experience it to believe it, let these guys take you on a virtual rollercoaster to the unbelievable.
Professor Bunsen Fun Science school & Slime workshops
Hold onto your hat as Professor Bunsen (a mad cap scientist) is combining his skills as a chemist and teacher and put them to use entertaining young minds with fun, exciting and delightfully different science parties. Who doesn’t want to see his crazy Flaming inferno hands experiment or learn about The Bernoulli principle – with a magical floating ball?
This 40min shows will take place at the craft tent at 1.30 & 3.30 and will have children and adults alike, marvel at the wonder of science & enjoy a great laugh along the way. In between shows Prof Bunsen will be conducting Slime workshops showing participants how to make lots of different types of the gooey stuff including glittery clear window slime and 'glow-in-the-dark' slime! Is a creative workshop providing a fun and exciting experience to keep children entertained. At SandArtNW picture workshops, children get hands on to create amazing pictures with brightly coloured sand. The finished picture will be presented in a sleeve ready to hang in pride of place at home. Enjoyed by boys and girls alike, from 3 years old to teenagers, SandArtNW picture workshops are entertaining, educational, and inspiring whilst they encourage imagination, concentration, artistic abilities. The Dancing Unicorn
Get festival ready and ready to sparkle at Cheshire Fest weekend with The Dancing Unicorn, festival glitter crew. Owned and created by makeup artist Kelly Roxanne, these crazy, creatives have their own festival glitter range and produce some amazing designs including glitter beards for the boys! It's hard being a human... time to be a unicorn!
Shush! Silent disco
Back by popular demand the guys from Shush will be bringing their Silent Disco again to Cheshire Fest. A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. The kids can be jamming to Baby Shark whilst you listen to Dre, great fun for all the family!
